Durante toda su vida y obra, Shri Mataji dedic\u00f3 mucho tiempo y energ\u00eda a promover las artes. Ella las vio como uno de los medios principales para expresar y nutrir las culturas del mundo. En particular, quiso preservar las antiguas, ricas tradiciones art\u00edsticas de su tierra natal, India y promovi\u00f3 su difusi\u00f3n por todo el mundo.<\/h4>\n

En 2003, con la ayuda de su hermano (conocido cari\u00f1osamente como Babamama), Shri Mataji fund\u00f3 un centro para las artes en Maharashtra, India. A este tranquilo escenario rural, acudieron estudiantes de todo el mundo, para aprender m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica india, danza y pintura. Shri Mataji personalmente dirigi\u00f3 el dise\u00f1o arquitect\u00f3nico de la Academia de Artes PK Salve<\/a>, as\u00ed como el de otros edificios construidos para fines humanitarios, como el Centro Vishwa Nirmala Prem para Mujeres Indigentes y Ni\u00f1os Hu\u00e9rfanos<\/a>, de Delhi.<\/p>\n

Shri Mataji reconoci\u00f3 la importancia de los productos hechos a mano, y siguiendo la tradici\u00f3n de Mahatma Gandhi, apoy\u00f3 constantemente el desarrollo de las industrias artesanales, vitales para la econom\u00eda y la cultura de la India.<\/p>\n\t

A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, Shri Mataji patrocin\u00f3 a los mayores exponentes de la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica y las danzas indias, invit\u00e1ndoles a dar conciertos y programas. Muchos de quienes actuaron en su presencia han descrito la experiencia como un momento transformador en su desarrollo art\u00edstico. Sintieron que la fuerte energ\u00eda creadora de Shri Mataji mejoraba su propia creatividad y habilidad art\u00edstica.<\/p>\n\t

Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Debu Chaudhari y Ustad Bismillah Khan son algunos ejemplos de los artistas c\u00e9lebres que actuaron a instancias de Shri Mataji. Ella misma escribi\u00f3 varios libros, y compuso bhajans (canciones devocionales) y poemas.<\/p>\n

El patrocinio de Shri Mataji a las artes incluy\u00f3 su gran apoyo al teatro. Ella anim\u00f3 a un grupo de actores talentosos a formar la compa\u00f1\u00eda Teatro de los Valores Eternos<\/a>. Fundada en Gante (B\u00e9lgica) en 1993. La compa\u00f1\u00eda realiza desde entonces giras internacionales, representando obras que inspiran espiritualidad a la audiencia y favorecen la consciencia del Ser.<\/p>\n\t

El Teatro de los Valores Eternos tambi\u00e9n trabaja con escuelas, universidades, empresas y la comunidad ofreciendo proyectos art\u00edsticos y educativos, como el Festival de la Cultura del Esp\u00edritu y la Academia<\/a> Internacional de NirmalArts<\/a>, que se celebra cada a\u00f1o en Piemonte, Italia.<\/p>\n\n
