V tomto \u00fatl\u00e9m v\u011bku p\u0159evzala odpov\u011bdnost za p\u00e9\u010di o sv\u00e9 mlad\u0161\u00ed sourozence. Rodina byla nucena opustit sv\u016fj pohodln\u00fd domov, p\u0159ijala spar\u0165ansk\u00fd zp\u016fsob \u017eivota, \u017eila v mal\u00fdch chatr\u010d\u00edch, spala na podlaze a n\u011bkdy se obe\u0161la bez j\u00eddla. \u201ePocit, \u017ee v\u0161echno, co na\u0161i rodi\u010de d\u011blaj\u00ed, je pro svobodu na\u0161\u00ed zem\u011b, byl tak povzn\u00e1\u0161ej\u00edc\u00ed&#8230; \u017ee jsme nikdy ani nepomysleli na drobn\u00e9 v\u00fddobytky, o kter\u00e9 d\u011bti \u017e\u00e1daj\u00ed,&#8221; vzpom\u00ednala \u0160r\u00ed M\u00e1tad\u017e\u00ed.<\/p>\n\t<p>B\u011bhem studi\u00ed na K\u0159es\u0165ansk\u00e9 l\u00e9ka\u0159sk\u00e9 fakult\u011b v L\u00e1hauru se \u0160r\u00ed M\u00e1tad\u017e\u00ed stala v\u016fdkyn\u00ed ml\u00e1de\u017ee, kter\u00e1 se aktivn\u011b zapojila do \u201eHnut\u00ed za opu\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed Indie&#8221; Mah\u00e1tmy G\u00e1ndh\u00edho v roce 1942<a href=\"https:\/\/shrimataji.org\/test\/cs\/studentska-leta\/#citation-note-1\">[1].<\/a> \u010casto byla zat\u00fdk\u00e1na, dokonce i mu\u010dena, ale to nijak neovlivnilo jej\u00ed odhodl\u00e1n\u00ed \u00fa\u010dastnit se boje za svobodu Indie.<\/p>\n<p>V t\u00e9 dob\u011b se setkala s jedn\u00edm ustra\u0161en\u00fdm Indem, kter\u00fd j\u00ed radil, aby se ne\u00fa\u010dastnila hnut\u00ed za opu\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed Indie, proto\u017ee by to pro mladou \u017eenu, jako je ona, mohlo b\u00fdt velmi nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9.
