Collective Meditation

Becoming part and parcel of the whole

The Spirit is the collective being within us. When it manifests, you’ll be amazed at yourself that you can feel the subtle centers of another person on your fingertips and you can feel the subtle centers of your being also on your fingertips.

Shri Mataji reveals in her teachings that we are in fact part and parcel of a living spiritual universe (Virata) that exists eternally beyond the dimensions of space, time and matter. Just like the cells of our body, which are preserved when they are part of the body and cease to exist when they are separated from the rest, the perpetual growth in our spiritual awareness is best sustained when we develop the sense of being part of one complete body and we meditate together, with others, collectively.

One does not need rooms with lots of comfort and luxuries. The place can be simple; what is important is that one comes with the simple and pure intention to meditate and be comfortable with the eternal spirit that dwells in all, to enjoy the bliss of the ocean of silent meditation when realized souls meditate together.

Shri Mataji recommended Sahaja Yogis who have established their self-realization to find some simple locations which are easily accessible to people living in a particular area to come together for meditation.

Since 1970 thousands of local Sahaja Yoga Meditation centers worldwide are voluntarily run by Sahaja Yoga practitioners to help any seeker of truth to receive their self-realization and establish themselves in meditation. No money has ever been charged for the experience of self-realization and acquiring the knowledge of Sahaja Yoga practise as established by Shri Mataji.
